Money stress is one of the leading causes of anxiety, relationship problems, and health issues. We believe it doesn't have to be that way.
The Problem

From Debt to Freedom Through Zero-Based Budgeting
ZeroBudget was founded by Alex Rodriguez after years of struggling with personal debt and financial anxiety. Like many people, Alex had a good income but never felt in control of money. Credit card debt kept growing, savings stayed at zero, and every unexpected expense felt like a crisis.
In 2021, Alex discovered zero-based budgeting and everything changed. By giving every dollar a job, Alex paid off $45,000 in debt over 18 months, built a 6-month emergency fund, and finally felt peace about money for the first time.
But the existing budgeting tools were frustrating - either too complex or missing key features. So Alex (a software engineer by trade) decided to build the budgeting tool that was needed: powerful enough for serious financial transformation, but simple enough for anyone to use.
ZeroBudget launched in 2023 and has helped thousands of people eliminate money stress, pay off debt, and build wealth. Our mission is to make financial freedom accessible to everyone, one budget at a time.
